Noise Reduction Set

Once a distance of 10m is reached in most cases the ambient sounds due to the wind itself will be louder than the turbine. However legislation may require to keep certain soundlevels.

Introducing our proven system for noise reduction of your SkyWind NG micro wind turbine. It allows the owner to automatically detect situations when the wind turbine would exceed his noise requirements (for operation in conservation areas, nature sanctuaries etc.). This way the already quiet SkyWind NG turbine can comply with even the most strict noise requirements.

The noise level at certain wind speeds and distances can be obtained from the TÜV Nord certified noise curve of the SkyWind NG turbine included in our gallery.

Delivery contents: Noise reduction set incl. wind sensor and control unit. Shut-off speed can be selected between 0 - 70 kph for noise reduction.
